Abstract:
How should a local area respond to depopulating society and stagnant economy? The key is to increase the number of nonresident populations such as tourists and visitors. Referring to the efforts of Kumamoto City from the perspectives of attraction of tourists from East Asian countries and the utilization of Kumamoto-jo Castle Hall (Tentative Name) that will be built anew, this lecture will explore together how a local region can build a system to become lucrative sustainably.
