Date&Time: 10 Oct (Thu.) 2019, 13:15-14:45

Abstract:
When enrolled in the Graduate School of Medical Sciences at Kumamoto University with major in Environmental Health and Medicine (Public Health), I learned about the different social challenges by regular field works. Utilizing the gained knowledge and the established networks during that period, I started a social enterprise during my third year at graduate school. We are doing social business by collaborating with local governments, insurers and private companies to solve the social challenges associated with declining birthrate and aging population. In the wake of Kumamoto Earthquake, we expanded our business in all prefectures in Kyushu and created 250 jobs for healthcare professionals. In this seminar, I will introduce about our business expansion in Kyushu related to the extension of healthy life expectancy and future plans.
