Abstract:

AMI Inc. is a startup company aiming at research and development of innovative medical devices and their implementation to improve remote medical care system.
In this seminar, I will talk about the reason why we started our business, the difficulties of research and development we faced, and the future prospects of our business.
The super stethoscope that we are developing (currently undergoing nationwide clinical research at medical institutions) makes it possible to take an electrocardiogram(ECG) and a phonocardiogram(PCG) simultaneously.
In addition, this device allows us to analyze inaudible biological sounds of a very low frequency area. This is a special feature of this device.

I will talk about our attempt to implement high quality telemedicine service in our society by using the video chat system for remote auscultation.
