Abstract:

Human activities produce waste, but the quantity and quality are diverse and have changed considerably throughout history. Recently, food loss, plastic waste, and microplastics have become intensely discussed global issues. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake and the 5th anniversary of the Kumamoto Earthquake, which generated disaster-related waste.

Although waste removal services can be considered the veins of society, we believe it is important to address social issues that emerge from it to move society forward. Let’s start thinking about waste together!
