Abstract:

This lecture aims to get you familiar with patent and intellectual property rights. Patent system is known as a means by which those who have made new invention can legally monopolize the development of products and sale. Besides, the system has other merits that we should keep in mind when we develop business.

In this lecture, I will show you how patent right, utility model right, design right and trademark right differ mutually, overview of patent system, and how intellectual property right can be utilized in business. Apart from that, I will explain unique rules and points of patent in medical and pharmaceutical industries with concrete cases.
