Abstract:
Kimura Foundry was established in 1927. The foundry has developed and refined The Full Mold Casting process for 50 years. Our Foundry dominates 40 percent of cast metal for press die and 20 percent for machine tools in domestic market share. The name of Kimura Foundry that supplies 80,000 tons of iron casts annually is so familiar to the casting industry fields.
However, our group is little known to the overseas casting industries. It is our common practice that heavy cast metal over 1, 000 kilograms is consumed in domestic market. So we will have lots of problems and troubles when we sell such heavy cast metals in foreign markets.
But that is why I really love and enjoy this business. The casting industry had been totally unknown to my life until I started my career at Kimura Foundry. In this seminar, I will talk about how I ran into Kimura Foundry and how we promote our cast metals in global market. It is a story of struggles in unknown world.
