Title:　Career and decision in life

Abstract;

In our life, we face moments to make big decisions. Especially, I assume such a moment comes so often if we are in academia. We have to make decisions such as whether we should go abroad or stay in home country for career and whether we should prioritize either family or job. If you are female, you need to make decisions peculiar to women. After graduating high-school in Japan, I went to a university in the USA. I spent 16 years to engage in research as a graduate student, post-doctoral research fellow and researcher. Utilizing my experiences in the USA, I work at SNBL in Kagoshima prefecture while rearing my kid with support of my American husband. I hope the lecture will become an example of career development and life choice.
