Abstract:
It has been 67 years since TV broadcasting started in Japan. The growth of TV has prospered as if it symbolized a period of high economic growth. TV has become an indispensable item in the lifestyle of common people as a comprehensive media of “news reporting”, “information” and “entertainment”. Both the Tokyo Key Stations (central) and Local Station (regional) have long walked with their respective roles serving the society. However, the question is “Where is television going from now on?”. In this seminar, Mr. Inoue, the former producer of Kumamoto Kenmin Television (KKT) will share his experiences how KKT started 24 years ago as the 2 hours’ information program channel and also about the famous program “Televitamin”.
