Abstract:

Doctor Asya Tacheva is a physician working in the Republic of Ireland as a Specialist Registrar in the field of Neurology. She graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2015 and proceeded to spend two years in the laboratory attached to the University of Miyazaki Department of Neurosurgery. She relocated to Ireland and underwent Basic Specialist Training to become a conferred Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. She is currently undergoing a research degree at the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology while working full-time as a clinician in St. James’s Hospital in Dublin. She has a special interest in the overlap between Neurosurgery and Neurology.
