Abstract:

The Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) is a governmental agency responsible for reviewing drugs and medical devices for approval and ensuring their safety. In this seminar, I will introduce the PMDA’s activities and discuss current and future collaborations among pharmaceutical companies, medical facilities, and the government, particularly for ensuring the post-marketing safety of drugs.
