Abstract:
Utilizing the knowledge I acquired at the Kumamoto University School of Pharmacy, I have been engaged in a variety of tasks with various people mainly in the medical and health field in Japan (i.e., the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology) and abroad. To keep up with the remarkable advancement of scientific technologies including in life sciences, information, and communication, I need to constantly update my knowledge of the latest technologies and understand changes in the domestic and overseas social environment to appropriately deal with new challenges.
During this seminar, I will describe my experiences, using them as an example of a career path for a pharmaceutical official with the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare in relation to last week’s seminar. In addition, I would like to share with you my current activities as a pharmaceutical official responsible for pharmaceutical and public health affairs in Kumamoto Prefecture.
